    I know that perch :)
Good compo, bird is looking out of the picture, but for a good reason, an interesting perch :)
Greta EXP, raised crest and beautiful sky. If it is something you do, I may lighten the eye.

Love this pose! The feathers on the back of the head are great - you really get a sense of him being outdoors and ready to fly. Agree with Fabs that the eye could use a bit of punch but everything else is very nice.

    Hi Fabs

I did not leave more room to the right to balance the shot. Bird looking out of the frame balances the picture, because of the way the perch curves. Thanks for the comments.

That's exactly what I said, in case you misunderstood me.

    Hi Fabs

There was no misunderstanding. I was just trying to explain, why I broke the regular rule.:)

I understand why it was important to keep the whole snag in the shot, it's an interesting compliment to the fantastic hawk.
Lightening the eyes a bit as was suggested would be my only crit.

Hi Manjesh, good looking species, and I like the look back pose. Difficult comp with the curved perch on the left, and the hawk looking right. All in all, adding space to the right, for more space to look into, will leave the hawk centrally placed. This works, and I like the repost.

Majesh, definitely a tricky one to comp/crop. I think this works well. The whole photo is non-traditional in many ways. bird's back facing us, perch curving one way, the bird looking( back) the other way. Well seen. repost is better.

If anything, I'd say a tad more room at top might make it better.
