Default Good Things Come in Twos

We've still got a fair amount of snow in the mountains, so I thought I'd sneak in one last Bosque image from this year. A pair of Ross's Geese flying against a mountain backdrop. I was lucky to get them both in focus with good but opposing wing positions.

    Really cool image Doug.

Excellent synchronized positioning, excellent exposure and sharpness....and good HA on both birds on top of it!

    Doug:

Very effective image, the opposing wing positions and overlap really makes you look carefully at it.
    Well exposed, pleasant BG.

Doug, you were indeed quite fortunate to capture this scene! I really like the opposing wings. Like Randy mentioned, it made me carefully study the scene. Nice, creamy background too.

Nice pair, they look like male and female judging by the head size.
You were not lucky, you had the right aperture :)

Hi Doug, well done for capturing the different wing positions, and good job on those whites. They are also separated from the BG nicely.

Great shot. I like that one goose has the wings all up and the other one down. Great DOF and perfect exposure.
