    Default Tricolor Nesting Pair

    A nesting pair of tricolor herons just after presenting a nesting stick. From Gatorland Sunday morning. Good weather before the front moved in just after 9 am. Nikon D300, Nikkor 300mm f4 at f 4.5, ISO 500, 1/640 sec, tripod. Slight crop to fit 7x5 aspect ratio. Some PP cleanup of brush. The crop is a little tight, but overall I like it. c&c welcome.

    Great colors and EXP. The crop does not work for me, maybe going tighter around the faces may help?
    Just my opinion, though, TFS.

    I don't might the tight crop so much because it seems so well balanced. The details and light on the feathers are beautiful.
