I was out at Gatorland yesterday and there was quite a bit of activity. This was in the afternoon when a group of great egrets were fishing for dinner. Taken with the D300 and Nikon 70-300VR, f/7.1, 1/4000, iso 640. C&C always welcomed.:)

Great Skimmer impersonation, Nancy. Looks like a Great Egret rather than a Spoonie. Whites look good but a linear burn may be worth a try to see if it accentuates the detail more. If the eye reflection is not distorted a 1 degree CCW turn may be in order. I might burn in the light areas in the BG a bit.

Very nice action and habitat. I like Tony's suggestions and if you are comfortable with it, I'd soften the shadow in the face. Love the flipped up little tail :)
