Looking forward to spring images so thought I would look through some past ones. Hope to be back in YStone in May. This was a May image of a hungry griz finding buried scraps, YSNP a couple of years ago. Not the detail in the snow that I would like, an exposure mistake not likely to be repeated:o.

Harshad, appreciate the critique. When I resized it late last night for posting I did not look close enough at the detail. You are absolutely correct it is not sharp enough. Here is a repost with a little contrast change and some selective sharpening but sadly it just does not cut it and will go in the round file as I have many more sharper files. Thanks for making me take a closer look :).

    Todd,
The overall composition is fine. However, I agree that the image could have been a bit more sharp. Look forward to images of grizzlies.

    Cheers,

I like the placement of the bear in the frame, and I feel you may have now oversharpened him a tad. ( all the shiny bits around the neck)
