    I posted an image of this guy a little while back, but in this, he turned around to face the other way, thus giving me a better angle and detail. Taken in a nature reserve close to my house.

    Looks good Stuart! You probably had room to boost your exposure a little more to get more detail in the blacks, although I suspect you could easily do it in post.

    Great plumage colour and texture. Some selective eye wok to darken the pupil may be worth a try. Looks like you're getting some good opportunities at Rietvlei, Stuart.
