I decided to run my mini-world action on this Poppy then added some blur to the BG and some minor tweaks. I first flipped the original image. I also added a gradient to the BG.

    Denise,

Greetings. Interesting, almost Rorschach effect (I see faces ;) ). You might find a tighter vertical crop works... I found an 8x10 aspect cropping right, left & top interesting, adds a different 3D quality (tunnel rather than globe).

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Very nice composition, Denise. I like the colors and details with the tunnel effect.

Nice try on the poppy story but you can't fool me; this is a fat easter duckling chick. All that you need to do is darken the green bill. Heck, I will do it myself and repost it:)

Whatever the heck it is, it is too cute and I love it. You need this one in the tutorial. Can we see the ORIG?

Cool mini-world result, colors and depth really neat on this...Wonder what it would look like flipped vertically?

    Thanks for sharing

Very creative, denise. Love the colors and the composition. Hope you'll repost a tighter vertical crop - sounds interesting. And what is your mini-world action, please? Before my time here, I guess:)

Kora, Thanks. I wrote a tutorial a while back and posted it. I made an action out of it. I'll see if I can dig it up.:)

Beautiful image, Denise! I love the overall effect but the colors are what takes it over the top for me. It looks so SPRING!
