    Default Spring is here

Avocet just before sunset, not sure if this is a nesting ground. This is from the habitat series, to show the dark and wet marshes

Really sweet image in nice soft light. A real beauty if you would just get rid of the white blob above his gorgeous bill.

    Arash,

Greetings. Beautiful shot... I like the composition, but the light blur (flower?) above the bill is distracting.

    Cheers,

Beautiful light and capture, Arash. Love this habitat view. Another vote for removing the white blob.

Beautiful all around. I've never seen them in breeding colors, in fact, only seen two :(
Habitat is a big plus here.

Very beautiful composition. I really like how the bird is partly covered by the fg, it gives the image a sort of candid feel to it. The colour, exposure and details in the bird look fantastic, and bg looks really good.

Habitat and BG are great and compliment subject well. Beak is sharp in focus the DoF and sensor placement were spot-on. Sweet picture - thanks for sharing.
