    Default Birdy Sunset



    An image from the garden . i tooks a lot work of clone as the frame was full of those branches .
    crop,( large one about 60-70%) , photo filters ( the sky was gray ) , clone tool .

    canon 50d , 1/8192 , f5,7 , 200mm , iso 800 .

    I like it. Pretty tough to get rid of the halo around the bird, short of carefully going around the entire perimeter with a 3px clone tool, although that would sharpen the image up a bit.

    Hi Kostas - Bg looks a little noisy - like the colours and the idea.
    IMHO - Bird needs to be darker to give it more POP. Id selectively darken the bird - run NR on the BG and in regards to the halo...

    Try
    Duplicate the layer - change blending mode to darken - clone over the HALO - should not change the darker areas.

    ok , i have done what Lance said , plus i have add one maltiply layer , i hope it looks a bit better now .. let me know please .

    Looking good, love the bird tall in the frame and the colors. Wish tail feathers did not merge with branches but we can't always get them to cooperate - nice one.
