    Was out at the Jetty today photographing birds......on the walk back was greeted by a spectacular sunset! Had only the 300-800........started with that.....but a friend who was with me......Nick Palmieri happened to have his 24-105 with him......lucky me! Hand held as the Wimberly had my Sigmonster on it!
    Canon 1D Mark lll with the 24-105mm lens at 99mm for 1/50 sec and f8 and ISO 800. Slight crop off top

    Fantastic colors and a great comp. I love the silhouette of the lighthouse.

    Thanks all! About 30 Harlequin.....couple hundred longtail.....a few surf scoters....a 2 Immature eiders....plus brandts etc.
