    Hi Paolo, nice exposure and good placement of the bird in frame.
    It looks to me as if the critical focus went to the branch on our left, it looks sharper than the bird.

    These really are good-looking birds, I like the angle and soft light and wish for a bit more eye contact and might remove the branches sticking out of the head. It would have been great to see the tail a bit better.

    I believe is a question of depth of field; if you look carefully at the bill of the bird is in focus and that maybe is on the same plane of the branch; the body of the bird is not in focus; a front image needs more than an f5 but it was not possible.

    Hey Paolo, I really like the soft colors and light. Like others, I think the image would carry for life if there was a little eye contact. The bird is in a fairly complicated scene, yet you did a good job of minimizing most of the distractions.
