    Default Bald Eagle in Flight

Had another oppurtunity to capture some Eagle flight images yesterday. I am following the advice I have recieved here on BPN and am liking the results. As Billy Joel sung "And if I don't have this all worked out
Still I'm getting closer, getting closer, I still have far to go no doubt, But I'm getting closer, getting close"
Sony A700, 70-400G @400mm, f8, 1/1250, iso1600, EC +1.7, HH, 45% of FF. PP in PSE8, corrected exposure in camera raw, levels, s/h, USM. (any additional shadow adjustment brought out too much noise)

Lovely image. Nice wingspread. HA, detail and light on the underside of the bird looks really good

Beautiful wing and tail spread, and head angle. Head looks a little light on my screen, like it needs a bit more contrast, or yellow spectrum saturation, or something?

Hi Peter, Good job on this! The exposure looks like it's handling the darks and lights well. The wingspread is great with ample room for the bird to fly into.Well handled...

Hi Peter - huge improvements - not seeing the blue fringing around the feathers any more - like the fanned out tail and the outstretched wings look good.
Some careful sharpening might coax some more details out of the feathers.
    Good show :)

    Peter,

Great wing spread and Eagle BIF image. Nice for HH at 1/1250, hard to pan when the bank like this. Maybe a tad more +EV would have helped lighten under parts. Maybe a wider aperture to boost shutter, but I like the 1/1250. Just want to be fast in flight - TFS well done.

Thank you everyone for the comments.
Lance, thanks for noting my improvement. I worked this one more than usual in PP.
