    Looks so much like our canvas back except for the light band on the bill.

    The eye is captivating, nice overall balance of luminosity for my taste. I do tend to like slightly darker images like this.

    I might consider moving him to the right in the frame a bit. You could consider cleaning up some of the smaller spots/bubbles in the water, just to simplify the image a bit.

    I might be mistaken, but it looks like this image has a blue/cyan cast. I looked up some other shots of pochards, and the
    light areas on them appear to be white or gray (pretty close to neutral).

    Love the repost by David, Warmer looks so much more appealing. Hmmm, even the bubbles in the water look better :)
