    Another one that I'm not quite sure about.........but since my Nikon scanner is down:(:(:(
    Canon digital Rebel with the Sigma 300-800 and the 1.4 tele at 1120mm. Slight crop top and left.............f8 for 1/60th at ISO 800.

    Great subject with a nice environmental BG. The lack of detail in the eye kinda hurts this one for me. I think this one would be a good base for an abstract PS type of thing.

    Roman,

    Try selecting the moose first and lightening him up just a bit. They select aroudn the eye and lighten that up to distingush it fromthe body/face more. Use Levels and the mid-tone gray slider. You can also selectively sharpen the eye a bit before selectively sharpening the moose. THis will make the eye stand out better. I did this with all my bear images.

    If you not opposed to this, clone out that one stalk of grass by the front leg.

    I like the snow and muted colors of the image. I would suggest increasing contrast just a bit.

    Roberts suggestions are right on. I prefer snow flakes over streaks but all you could have done is rasise the ISO and that was probably not an atttactive option with the dark moose showing noise but maybe worth a try. 1/125 usually stops snow flakes...
