Just one more. I've been taking pictures of this bird for over a year (she hangs around a small local lake), and although very skittish for months, I now can approach to minimum focus distance. I think she knows me!:)

Another beautiful image, Bill! I cloned out the white sticks in the BG as I found them to be distracting (selected BG, used eye dropper to find blue sky color, switched to a soft brush and painted on the blue over the white.)

I also brought down the brightness of the pink area a bit just to see what it would look like. Not sure if it's really better - I just felt the mouth was a bit bright.

These images of yours are so incredible. You've built a couple of beautiful galleries with it!

Bill, Nice looking pose and details. I like the filter effect as always. Jules has a good idea w/ the removal of the white lines in the BG.:)

Great image, Bill. I noticed the OOF areas in the BG too, so the repost by Jules makes it look better, IMO.:)

    Nice image and application, Bill.

Minor cloning of repost solved only issue.

Appreciate the feedback as usual. Good point Julie, about the background which I noticed as well when working on the image. I felt it subdued enough, but as you have skillfully demonstrated, a sold light blue is better. Thanks! regards~Bill
