Got this youngster as he followed me along on a hike last Summer. I liked the curve of the mullein and the body. 40D, 400DO, f8, 1/1600, ISO 800, +1 EC, handheld, vertical crop from horizontal.

Thanks for the look Paul. That's interesting about the frame. I've had that happen a couple of times and always assumed that I messed up when I typed in the size. I went back and retried it after seeing your post and it still comes out funky. I won't get so fancy next time ;).

Loverly COMP and BKGR but with the sidelight and the somewhat ratty individual this one does not rock my boat.

Exposure looks solid and nice composition. Love the vert with the bird tall in the frame. Good feather detail and BG is beautiful. Nice picture, that lens is killing me, I will send you a PM.

Hi Steve, super comp and pose, and I really like the overall colours in this. This is sharp, and against a killer BG. Fine image Steve.

Nice colours in the bird and BG..,Detail in the bird is also sharp....I have had the same problems with sizing the frame.
