    Default Incoming Snow Goose

Photographed at Middle Creek a few days ago. Over 90% of the birds have already left on the way to their northern breeding grounds.

Like the lighting, like the pose, sharpness looks great.

To my eyes, the blacks are opened up nicely on the under wing but the leading whites look rather hot.

It also looks as though it could use a bit more contrast overall (or at least the background).

Axel, I love your Show Goose shots. This is another clear winner. Wonderful light, BG and perfect sharpness.
I like the diagonal line of the wings.

Good placement in the frame, and I like the full wingspread for the landing posture. Yep, another great BG.

I have enjoyed this series a lot. Nice pose and DOF is perfect. entire bird in focus with a fully blurred BG. beautiful.
