One from last summer that I overlooked. A common subject, but you cannot beat those Jamaica Bay backgrounds.

Angle, light, BG and sharpness look very good but the droplets make this one for me. I would try to get more details in the blacks, they are partially blocked.

Hi Grace, BG is killer! Solid exposure techs - like it as presented.

Love the background, action and sharpness. Exposure looks great to my eyes.

I've got to talk to Axel and find out exactly what it is he's seeing as he notes this frequently.

I don't typically like really skinny DOF but it works really well in this case Grace.

Great timing and indeed the water drops make this image.

Grace, this is stunning! I love the low angle and the detail of the water droplets and bird!
Super BG. Do agree on the blacks being a bit blocked.

I like the colours in the BG and the narrow DOF isolating the goose and flying drops. Low angle is great.

Beautiful water and BG and agree that water drops add a great deal.
    Nicely done!

I'm seeing a bit of a green cast especially noticeable in the body of the goose.

Quite stunning. The bunched droplets take this one to the top of the ladder. Sweet light and BG. Well seen and timed. Thx for sharing this.

Grace, stunning light and colours, and I like the diagonal behaviour. The shaking droplets do add a lot. Congrats on a fine image.

It's not easy doing an uncommon image of a common bird. You have.
    Big congrats!
