Edit photo from LR to CS4 not working

I just installed CS4 (replaced CS3) and want to edit photos from LR into CS4. "Edit in CS4" as well as "Edit as Smart object" only seems to open CS4 but does not load the photo from LR. I did find out that photos taken with my new 1D MkIV are not opening and the photos taken with the 1Ds MkIII and 5D MkII are opening without a problem. I have checked all the program versions and I am completely updated. Latest version of Camera Raw is 5.2.

What could the reason be for this? Does anybody have the same experience or knows the answer?

Latest Camera Raw is 5.6

I looked on the Adobe site in forums on the issue and apparently got to an older download page with the "latest" version 5.2

.. if you ever run into problems not being able to convert remember you can convert to DNG and will be good to go !!!

In LR look at the drop down menu under library and will find convert to dng !!!
