Another beauty from your trip Sid. Hard to compose this guy with this long tail and this angle without having him look too centered. Light and BG look real good. The RR looks healthy and I like the hint of that green sheen on the wings. Perch has character although I'd prefer a more natural end.

Completely agree with you on that. Did not realize that until I got home back.

Nice image Sid! Great contrast in the bird, excellent BG, nice job framing. Also very sharp and great DOF. Agree with the comments on the end of the perch. Also the blur seems unnatural where it meets the perch.

Love the bird, but the end of the perch is a distraction.

Geez...I kinda liked the perch :)

Love the background, pose and sharpness.

Some of the whites look just a hair hot, especially on the wing?

Looks like a hint of a blue tint under the tail?

looks very nice Sid, HA and pose are great, so is the BG. There is subtle halo around the tail from the blur mask.

Thanks Jim. I guess shadows created that blue tint under the tail.

Yep... I see that now after you mentioned. More attention to details in post processing next time. :)

Nice shot. I see the halo mentioned and wonder whether the original BG really needed this blur.

I like the angle of the pose, sharp, and really stands out against the BG. I agree with Arash regarding the halo.
