    Taken on the Hooptie Deux with James last saturday.....I did get some spoonies but this was a new bird for me!
    Canon 1D Mark lll with the Sigma 300-800 at 379mm for 1/4000 sec. at f7.1 and ISO 800 all tripod mounted/wimberly head.

    Sweet light and fantastic subject. Cloud formation in the back is working great. Beautiful image Roman.

    Looks like a nice slow glide in. Light and colors look good. Maybe a touch more sharpening?

    Soft light is great and love the wing position. Perfect position to leverage sun and light entire bird - nice technique.

    Nice bird, but the clouds in the background really complete this image for me, nice going, Roman.

    Nice Roman, like the clouds in BG, head turn and eye contact help with the pose, I would sharpen the bird a bit more. TFS

    Very good exposure. This is a situation very easy to mess up. You got nice head angle covered too. Flight photography must be hard with that big lens.
