    Default Osprey In Nest.....

    Favorite Osprey Nest. Mama sitting on her eggs, guessing about 10 days or so by now. Hoping for 3 chicks this year!!
    Shot in the evening with lots of wind.
    Shot in Winter Park Fl.

    Nikon D300 with a 200-400MM F4 lens & 1.4X t.c.
    ISO 400

    F8 @ 550MM

    You certainly got the attention of the bird. What precautions did you take to not disturb them? I find the branches above the head a bit distracting.

    Glad to see she is finally on the nest and it looks more substantial than last years. I always felt this location lent itself to a early morning shoot. Nice behavior image.
