    Default Bronzed Little Blue Heron- Port Salerno, FL

    I really don't know what to make of this image. I like the colors but I think the bg may be too distracting. Also, does the heron blend in too much with it? Please help me out here! Taken at 6:40 am in Port Salerno, FL

    Canon 40d, Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS
    1/260s @ f/1.6 -1, ISO 400, 840mm
    Gitzo carbon fiber tripod, Wimberely head, Canon Speedlite

    I too like the colours, and i love the BG, but as you say i think that the bird does blend in a little too much here, none the less a good capture.

    If the bird had turned its head back towards you a bit more, it would have caught more of the light which was from your right. That would have separated it from the background. Selecting and lightening the background would help. Do like the light and the framing. The perch is a bit too big for the bird.
