    Default Tiger Cub

    Dear all

I was in Bandhavgarh last week and after some blockbluster sighting of cubs I headed back home. Was waiting for train at Jabalpur railway station , my cellphone roared :D. My driver from Tadoba Andhari tiger reserve was calling. He was so excited about finding cubs.He said Sir aake jao ( Sir pl come ). So instead of taking train to Aurangabad , I boarded bus to Nagpur and then to chandrapur. After 800 kms of road travel I was at TATR gate at 5 am. This cub made sure that Uncle Harshad was happy. Looks like after this summer my wife will get adjusted with my fanatism , keeping fingers crossed :)

    7D , 300/f4 at f6.3 , 1/400, ISO 400 , HH , cropped to compo, I have not touched colors , it was amazing golden light.

All C & C are most welcome and much appreciated
    Harshad

That's a long way to go for a photo, but well worth it

This is a beauty nothing else needs to be said:)

I shall now go and find out where Tadoba Andhari is.

Very, very, very nice Uncle Harshad, for me this is one of the best from the series. You have to love the expression and the size of those paws:eek::eek:

There is a slight difference from web to viewing in PS and based on that view I might add a fraction of +5 brightness to the image, but no big deal.;)

BTW the lemon juice is working on that old wound
    :D

Harshadbhai, first the big tiger lying in the forest, now this splendid cub out in the open. I take back my previous comment. THIS is your best tiger shot by miles IMHO. The golden light, eye contact, pose, slightly blurred paw, POV, pink tongue. Inspiring stuff. Makes me want to board a plane and go on safari with you!

Do I understand correctly you are getting married soon? Or are you married and your wife is frustrated with your obsession? ;)

That is a superb image. The eye contact, catchlights and movement in the paw make this one of the best I have seen.

When are you accepting visitors to join you on one of your trips ?

    Excellent.

Cute fellow. I like the eye contact and the open mouth.

Haven't been there since the last one year due to work pressure. The last time I was there, was to donate phones to the forest department. Helped change their communication system from wireless to GSM through my organisation so that the patrolling teams can remain connected with the office. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
