Denise: is this a closeup? If so maybe in this weeks theme?

Bill, It qualifies as a close-up and I added the word theme to your title. Adorable times a thousand!!:) I like the comp. with the partial second chick. I might clean up the outline on the head of the main chick. excellent work with the filter and I love the eyes.

Great filter work on these sweet ducklings, Bill. The effect makes them look twice as cuddly:)

Real nice effect on this. I like the contrasting dark and light chicks.

Adorable is absolutely what this is! Gosh, I can't wait for this year's crop of babies! Only suggestion I have is that the eye on the yellow one looks a tad soft and I think you could probably bring up the small catchlight on the dark duck's eye as well - just a touch. Everything else is perfection!

Cuteness factor off the charts Bill.:) Love the baby ducks. Curious as to the dark one, did you darken it in PS?

Appreciate the comments. Good suggestions. No, I did not darken the duckling, Jackie, it sure sounds like a lot of work if I did! There was a duck on the right (actually the back half) that was evicted and I think that is what caused the head outline problem Denise mentioned. Appreciate all such problems being brought to my attention. regards~Bill

What's not to love about these two cuties! :) Lovely filter work and composition. HA could be better on the dark one, but no biggie. I would definitely bring up the highlight in the dark one's eye a bit.

Major cuteness Bill! Love the little guys/gals. Nice soft and subtle frac work. Very nice!
