From Midway. I am very frustrated. I used to be able to cut, rotate, insert etc parts of additional things into a photo. I had intended to paste the wing tips on the birds and then have the full blur images. Now, since SC3, Ican not use the move function when I try to move and then, as would have been here, rotate. Something has changed in photoshop and I guess I have to learn different commands and functions to make things work. I watched Artie on on the Midway trip work on an eye, copying and flipping, but Ihave no clue. Can some of the masters here help me?
Anyway, I like the shot regardless. It was the most interesting, to me, blur of the many I took at Midway.

Steve, If I read you correctly, you need to add canvas first, then copy the layer Control J should do it, then go to Edit>Transform>flip vertically. Now they are upside down. Now you flip them horizontal. Create a layer mask and paint black to get rid of the extra canvas. Now use the Move tool V in the keyboard to align the wing tips. Flatten and finish with the clone stamp.
I just added canvas to the bottom, if you want the whole wing tip, you need to add canvas to the left too.
Hope this helps
Sorry for the duplication, Denise posted while I was working on it.
Fabs,
thanks, I need to learn the layers and masking. I have been the dinosaur with Photoshop. I have added canvas, but was able earlier on to cut, copy and paste what I wanted and tilt to fit. Now I can't seem to get it right.
I did use the Fractalis to do this version. I got that program quite a while ago. now I just learned how to play with smart sharpening with the controls, which is how I got the halo around the bird.
will keep trying. My mom entered the hospice program today, so I am not really concentrating on PS.
Regards,
Steve

Steve, I think if you fix the wing tips you will have a lovely blur and an original looking fractalius image. Sorry to hear about your Mom. When you are ready for layers and masking Artie has a great CD called:
