Hi Edy Sweet bird ..new one for me !!!!

I like the intent look and surroundings, might have tried for a horizontal. Reflection is not strong and the reeds are interesting for showing more plus will give space for the bird to look into.

did not see the exposure compensation, looks a little underexposed, might want to check the histogram. Always try having data in the last box to the right !!!

Image wise it is sharp, would like seeing the bird with a slight head turn. Makes the image more attractive and will have the tip of the beak/eye in the same plane having them both within the dof !!! Looking forward to the next !!!

Hi Agree with AL - made a few quick changes - added some sharpening - adjusted the mid tones slightly, cloned out the reed need the beak, sharpened the eye a tad and cropped.
    Any better???

Interesting bird; where's he from? Lance's repost really helps. Some more canvas to the right would add to the image, as would a bit of head turn.

Hi Edy, Agree with Al's points and Lance's repost addressed some other issues.
