I take it that he was on a small ridge?
I am certain you did not get on the ground:)
I know it is difficult to avoid "road shots" but these are so much better for me!
Bhai! Simply your best tiger shot I've ever seen. Period.
Wish this was mine. Print and hang!
Are you back on Nikon kit now? ;)
jip that 200-400 is an amazing lens. I would take the flexibility of the zoom at that image quality over a 500 prime any day :)
Wonderful image Harshad. Nice pose and just enough dof to blur bg yet sharp where it needs to be. Nice soft light.

Harshad I love the low angle. Not a view that's often presented for tigers and other big cats. I would be happy to have seen this tiger let alone created this image.
I might only wish for a little more canvas on the left had side of the frame if only to not crowd the cat's hind paw when you matte and frame this beauty! ;)
Eish! This is super, Harshad. lovely exposure and colours.
Harshadbhai, you have posted excellent images over time, but I rate this one of your best. The eye level angle does it for me, together with the side profile. Sharp, with natural colours. Congrats.
What a beautifull animal and expertly captured too. The capture angle takes this over the top for me. Congrats on an awesome image Harshad.
Love the low angle. As good as this is, it would have been better had you moved one meter to your left. Why?

Or at least moved out from behind the tiger's head. BTW, may be assume as before that you were in the vehicle?

Harshad, would echo Artie's comments re POV, but appreciate your position & clarification. It is a very arresting image Harshad, one to be proud of.
I do feel that you are better suited to Nikon as the results are clear to, compared to Canon. :) HH at 1/90 well done! The 200-400 is a 'corker' of a lens, wish Canon would bring one out and ditch the 100-400.
Dream on I think. :D

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
Very nice Harshad,
I like the low angle and understand your inability to move more to the left.

a little late in commenting, so apologies, agree with this being one of your best!!
Agree with Stephen about adding a little canvas and Arties observation about moving little to left.
As for the 200-400mm ,that and the D3 from a technical point of view changed my photography ... and I get a lot less frustrated and do not miss as many shots as I use to.
congrats on beautiful image
