    Captured at the local duck park, which is always good for something interesting! Late afternoon sun with the trusty 400mm f/5.6.

    50D, EF400mm f/5.6L
    Manual mode, f/5.6@1/1000 ISO 400 WB 5100K
    AI Servo autofocus, hand-held no flash

    Superb detail, and a good action moment caught as well. It's easy sometimes to forget how beautiful a male mallard can be. The composition is strong here too, I really like the close crop (if it's a crop and not already full frame). *Very* well done!

    This is a beauty Kerry. The light made all the difference. Looks like an oil painting to me. Well done!
