This was taken while visiting Merritt Island. The sun was setting when this beauty appeared heading straight for me. What a pleasure to see it flying and in such gorgeous light.

Killer light and I love the gray sky. And sharp. Would prefer that the head have been on perfectly staight; parallel to the back of the camera is not always perfect. With the wings in the full down position, the shadow on the body would have been eliminated but I do like the underwing detail.
