    Default How Close Is Close ?



    i got this image just to day , this guy near to the fence , i was almost feeling his breath . i thook the image through the
    rails it wasnt easy to focus at all .

    crop ( about 20% ) clone tool , hi pass . the fathers on his eat was over , so i made a 2nd layer via copty at this place , then i have change the blend mode in maltiply to bring out some details .

    canon 50d , 1/197 , f18,2 , iso 800

    seems to need a little sharpening, kostas. that's all! and that is CLOSE!!

    if you were at f/18, i would have sacrificed some DOF for SS here. i dont think you needed much dof anyways!!!!:)

    HI Kostas - close - this is Macro!
    Agree with MR H - F18 was probably overkill here - F10 would have been sufficient easily and provided some more SS to guard against softness.
    Good work with the PP to recover the whites.

    Interesting composition, f/18 was not needed this close. A wider aperture would have provided more SS and sharpness. Kostas, your work is very unique and I enjoy it.

    Like the composition ! I would sharpen the eye a bit.

    What lens did you use, Kotas?

    Close but not close enough to disguise what it is :D

    Difficulty with that image is the limited dof, need to pick out what is important and zero on the area. Here there are lots of important or eye catching parts !!! Going close is fun and addictive !!!
