I like the captured action, poses and eye contacts. Would backing up a few steps have been an option? I'm wondering what it would look like if the angle were less steep.

What an awesome capture, Amy. You got it all...the nest/environment, both birds, the catch of the day and the amazing head turn! You were so lucky that it came together for you. Congrats on this one for sure!!!!

Lots of great elements here, but I think what makes the image is the eye-contact and HA.
I wonder if you had more space on the left to go for a more pano crop?

    Like this one a lot.

Interaction is great between the subjects and the wingspread on the left bird for a back shot is great.

Yellows look a little over saturated.

If you cloned out that one diagonal stick to the right of the fish and lightened the fish a tad, it might draw a bit more attention to it.

Great shot Amy! I like this shot with the wings swept all the way back and the color and detail that you captured! Well done! :)

Love the action you captured here Amy and the fact that you were able to capture both eyes was awesome. The expressions on both faces puts it over the top. Wonderful timing !!!!!

Amy, Fantastic capture. I really like the eye contact from both and the fully extended wings w/o being clipped. Very nice sharp details and exposure. Congrats!!:)
