Default An Anhinga Pose I was pleased with

Well, I can finally get back to PP my images and posting on the forum. I have been updating my desktop PC with Windows 7 64-bit and now that is done, and with very little issues, I can get back to normal. I was out at Gatorland and captured this anhinga. I liked the fan tail and the wing spread. Usually I have not been happy with what I have captured of these birds. Taken with the D300 and Nikon 70-300VR, f/7.1, iso 640, 1/2000. C&C welcomed usual:).

I can see why you were pleased Nancy. :) This female put on quite a display for you. Very sharp and nicely exposed.

Neat pose, I particularly like the wing position. The color of the sky looks a bit off on my monitor.

I think the squarish crop works well here Nancy.

Excellent pose and sharpness. perhaps you could open up the shadows just a bit on the right wing?

Excellent pose and detail on the blacks, just the right wing a bit, but I know them birds are quite difficult to expose, if the sun is not hitting them the right way.
Sky may improve if you take a bit of red out of the blue.

Lovely capture Nancy and beautiful flight pose with the fanned tail and great mating eye. Your timing was excellent. Thanks for sharing.
