    Default Tame Mute Swan

This is a tame Mute Swan in one of the local ponds. Didn't want to post it in Avian...thought this would a nice forum for that. The pair is hatching eggs right now. I am waiting for the "ugly ducklings" to come out.

Sweet looking bird !!! We had a pair locally in a park, a lady used to take care feeding them daily, on would walk up to her and nibble around her face. What a sweet bird !!

Will be fun with the little guys, hope they make it !!!

I hope they come out in March as I will be on vacation entire April. In May they will be grown up but am sure will be very photogenic then too. Yes, I'll sure post the shots here.

Harshad, will be there for 3 weeks. visiting after 2+ years. So between my parents, sister, in-laws, other relatives and many friends, taking time out for a national park visit is hard. I wish I could...really do.
