    Interesting bird; love the rust-colored wings and red eye. I might selectively sharpen the head. BG is a little busy, but I like that the head is set against a clear area of BG green.

    Lovely Coucal image, Ram. I find these birds very difficult to get a clear view of. I like the green BG but would remove the small vertical piece of barbed wire to the right of the trunk - the horizontal strand is well enough hidden in the habitat not to distract. The red eye is beautiful.

    Doug and Tony hit the high points. It is an interesting bird, somewhat busy background. Wonder if just a touch of fill flash might not have brought the wing and throat area up nicely.

    Thanx Doug Tony and Randy . I have sharpened the head and cloned out the barbed wire . Thanx for your comments i think i am improving a lot with BPN. Please comment on the repost tooo.

    Good job, Ram. I'd keep the extra sharpening away from the edges of the head as the halos there are now quite pronounced on my screen.
