    Been a hectic year so far, not been able to do much photography. Got away for three days earlier this year, finally got the chance to try out the new D3s. Noise just ain't an issue any more...;)

    Chris, what strikes me most is the feather detail. at 100%, this must be jaw-dropping. Perfect light angle. Thx for sharing this beauty.

    Superb plumage detail, Chris. DOF at f7.1 covers the whole bird and still renders a good BG. Glad to hear the D3s is working well for you.

    I love this bird and I can't wait to get back to Africa to photograph it. Lovely colors, details;great exposure and perfect pose. Well done, Chris. I hope your schedule will allow you to go out photographing more.

    Wow! What a stunning colorful bird. You did an excellant job showing him off. The little piece of branch that hangs down from your main perch, did take my eye away from your subject, but the beauty of the bird, quickly brings my eye back up. :) An outstanding capture!
