Beautiful bird, lovely image. Really nice details and colours through the bird. (has that eye ring been touched or is it really that bright?). Would crop a little off the top and just a touch from in front.

Mark, Thanks for the comments. I did a hue/saturation of 6 on the total image, but the eye rings are that bright.

    Craig,

Greetings. Great detail & nice background. A little hot on the collar (me thinks) and a bit static on the composition for my taste. Good contrast.

    Cheers,

Agree on the ring being that bright, these are gorgeous birds !!!

Would have a tiny more room at the bottom and little less at the top. Pose, head angle and low angle are just fine !! Regarding the whites they might display different in some monitors but looks really good to me. We would always like having a little detail on the whites but personally only get them with the softest of light !!!

In PS might clean up some of bright sticks just under the bird. I like it a lot !!!

Hi Craig, Alfred touched every point I was considering. Nice low angle with a beautifully muted backround....
