    Default Another Wyoming Sage Grouse

From this morning. Its a real problem dealing with the hot whites, but this is close? :( Still no Females at the Lek but I did find a flock of about 30 females all together about 3 miles away, there where no males with them but I am sure its only a matter of time until they join up.

Amazing bird. Good low angle to get the nice OOF BG. Some of the whites are blown. May be an option to do 2 separate raw conversions and mask in the whites from one with less exposure and more recovery.

Great detail and color. I also like the low angle. I see some pretty good detail in the whites.

Magnificent animal, I have to go there one year, for the Grouse. Hope the females arrive soon. They are very smart animals, keeping separate households the rest of the year ;)

Here's some way to recoup the whites:

James, I am viewing form my work computer and it is not calibrated, but the whites look ok on this monitor. I am seeing pretty good detail. I like this shot a lot and hope to one day get the opportunity to photograph these amazing birds!
