    Good singing pose and nice detail in the blacks, Dan. Some of the reds are clipping and nudging them back a little brings up a bit more detail in the red shoulders and the perch. I would probably crop a little closer and ease back on the sharpening to reduce the halos.

    I like the idea of cropping in a little tighter. And I don't think pulling the exposure back a little will hurt your black detail.
