Default Tricolor - Very bad Head angle

I shot this bird a lot last month. Most shots look like many others I have seen here and elsewhere. So, instead of waiting to engage him, I Waited to he ignored me - gave me the cold shoulder actually.
I left one leaf at the top which I think adds to the image. I also think the tiny bit of beak helps too.

I've got to give it to you Allan, you think out of the box AND you have a great sense of humor! Love the golden feet against the black BG. Feathers look sharp to me. This could be the inaugural of a really bad HA forum...

I think the leaf is over saturated (it's a joke).

I think it's great that you had the gumption to post something different.

Perhaps this will be the next fad?

    A "Rubesque" image!

I did not see it as gumption but rather wanting to shoot something different. And because it is different I think it is good. But is that the only reason? Wondering what others think is the reason for the posting.

Alan, I like this a lot, but I would have liked it better without the leaf and beak. They distract my eyes a bit from the feet and feathers. I guess there can be a lot of different opinions about such image. Well seen nice OOTB photo. Beautifully done.

I wanted those to elements include to give a hint of head and a hint of environment, Tastes vary, I guess.

I agree Just the back of the bird and the legs make it for me
