    Hi Folks

Captured this European Starling in our garden last week and color sketched him using AKVIS Graphic tools.

    CC's invited and appreciated.

    Best regards

NOW we're talkin'. Jeez, Gus, wow! Beautiful detail on the bird. Lovely detail everywhere else but so soft and inconspicuous that it doesn't pull your eye away at all from that beautiful head turn. Might try to pop the red in his feet just a little bit more so it doesn't blend in with the perch quite as much but that's a very minor point. I think this is one of my favorites of yours and I am so sick of Starlings right now I can't believe I'm saying this! :D:D:D

Beautiful, Gus. I agree with Jules. Way to go on making an ugly bird look good!:)

Gus, I like the original post a little better. Very nice treatment. I can almost see a rainbow in the BG and I might continue that look if it were mine(just a thought) Very nice work with the effect and the pose is too cute!!!

I do like the foot better in the repost but I'd tone down everything else like the first post. Now the foot has a little more definition!

Gus, I like what you've done with the Starling and background..only thing that bugs me is the crop for some reason...maybe bird is to far to the left...but hey its only me...
