    Axel,

    Thanks for postings.

I use in my MarkIV Photofast Gmonster 533Plus 16 GB & Photofast SD 16GB 24MB/SW & 19MB/S cards..for the last 2 months without any problems.

It's a very fast combo & a bang for buck:)

I use a 32GB GMonster 533x Plus, too and also a Sandisk Extreme Pro. Both are very fast.

Do you use a Firewire 800 reader by any chance? I read that it is not possible to use the Lexar reader daisy chained. I might get the Sandisk reader but I don't know if one of them is faster (the Sandisk reader is on the company website surprisingly rated at 40MB/s only) and if I can plug it in the external Firewire 800 HDD to transfer the files from card to external HDD.

I have a USB card reader, too, but find it pretty slow when I transfer 32GB of RAW files to an external hard drive.

I did some more research and it seems both readers have almost the same speed when you use UDMA 6 cards. I just ordered the Sandisk Firewire 800 reader. It should read around 70MB/s with the GMonster 533x Plus card.
