    Your plover is sharp and well exposed. Interesting pose with it looking at another bird or perhaps a plane.

    I might consider trying to tone down some of the shells on the beach, esp. the ones above him, since your eyes are led that way by his gaze.

    I might be tempted to crop a little bit tighter on the left, and give more space above, to strengthen the looking up feel..

    Nice image, with an interesting head position. Sharp, with nice detail and exposure. Agree with Randy, re: de-shelling the background. I really like the foreground shells around the bird's feet, however.

    Hi - Just a quick repost.
    Cleaned up the shells in the BG and sharpened the eye a tad.
