My first avian post - from our 2006 trip to the Masai Mara - this eagle was fighting off a much smaller Tawny eagle for the last portions of food - I do not usually shoot birds - plus I must say the great quality of the images is intimidating - oh well here goes

what do you think re the crop - also what procedure do you use to reduce the size to upload - also how do you sharpen after reduction
I can't help with the ID, but like the look-back pose and angle. I would put the bird further to the left so he looks into the frame and would try to remove the magenta cast. Keep them coming!
thanks for the comments _ we were told by Calvin Cottar that this was a Marshall eagle but I have no idea - I agree the shift more to right would be better but I shot it too tight to the right corner
