    Hi, 2 years ago I went to Cal. and this is one of my favourite shots from the trip hope u like it!

    70-300 1:4 5.6 IS USM (zoom at 300mm)

    An other image taken from the same place, which one is the best?

    My favourite is the first one, mostly cuse you see the hole bird, I like the perch and the pose of the bird more.

    I much prefer the first image. Exposure and sharpness look good, and you've got a nice head turn. The perch could be better though. I would trim some canvas off the right side of the frame.

    #1 for sure. As man made perches go, this one is at least interesting. Would have been better if the bird didn't merge with the post. I agree with Doug on crop. Come in to eliminate the end of the top rail.

    Nicely exposed and sharp.
