On the way home from photographing hares I found a road kill. I picked it up and took it back to my hide. After a couple of hours a buzzard came down. Needless to say when all the real action was captured there was really dull light and the nictitating membrane covered the eyes.

    All comments welcome.

The buzzard seems very alert to your presence, Jonathan! Was the road kill another bird? Nice capture and exposure and I like the BG even though it's busy. The bird seems just a little soft on my monitor, and might suggest moving it slightly to the left.

Great pose, eye contact and shooting angle. Looks very sharp to me and I like the composition. Here is a repost with some basic PS adjustments - I am sure that when applied to the original file it will look even better.
    Cheers,

    Ofer
