I was working my way across an open field to get progressively closer shots of a mockingbird,
when a another bird flew in to contest the boundary. I was disappointed not to be a little closer,
but managed to capture the flurry of the moment. The IQ suffered a bit from the hasty setup
and distance, but I thought you might enjoy seeing the image anyway. In hindsight, a little faster
shutter speed was possible, and would have helped reduce blur and highlight burnouts.

Very nice capture! The fight is dramatic enough in itself, but the sharp barbs on the wire heighten the drama. The blurred action
also contrasts nicely with the sharply focused wire. Good job!

Given the situation not a bad capture (wish for more shutter as you noted) and I find the picture most interesting. Love the BG and wire as much as the subjects - nice composition - thanks for sharing.

Hi Craig - the barb wire forms contrast lines against the lighter colored BG - effectively framing the subjects and concentrating the viewers attention into that area.
Like it a lot - nothing I would change.
    Big Congrats :)

Hi Craig Fine capture !!! Don't mind the blurred wings at all, tough to get enough shutter speed to freeze !!!

Will also gladly take the clearly visible face against the blown whites !! Just wish the closer bird had his wing fully deployed !!! You did well !!!
