    Default Run Forrest run

Another 'coot in trouble' photo from my side. This time being chased by a gull.

Was the gull trying to steal some food from the coot? Too bad the coot was not running toward you.

Axel, yes, he was trying to steal some food. He was not alone. 4-5 gulls were harassing him. I fortunately got one frame in which only one gull is seen. This scene unfolds all the time at the lake. But hard to catch the right composition with right light and everything.

Awesome action moment. Really looks like a big predator who's trying to eat the coot. Indeed a pitty that the whole show is not facing towards you.

Actually....I think the caption and the image go absolutely perfectly together.

    I truly enjoyed this :)

Kaustubh, well done on getting both in the frame, and the tables are turned on the coot. They are normally the ones who are chasing others.
