    Default Mating Burrowing Owl III

This is not the original pair of owls I've been observing. I did not see the original pair at their nest at all. I'll speculate that they have successfully mated. This shot of a series is the first occasion I've used flash to improve the shutter speed in my observation of the Burrowing Owl. These owls were observed near the Cape Coral Library. The sun set at 6:35pm.

Cropped top, left and right, sharpened, NR, contrast, color correction of pupil, tripod.

A good action shot but there is still some noise in the background.
