    Default Little Owl

This image was taken a few months back.
As the Owl was just in front of me, I had the feeling he would take off so I got the cam ready
for a flight shot, bumping up the iso a bit.
Thats why the Shutter speed is so high.
This image is a few sec before the owl took off.

    All c&c welcomed.

I like the open beak, and eye contact, and captured against a complimentary BG. Hope you got the take off shot. ;)

Great close-up Danny! I like the open beak and BG as well.

I like it. Interesting pose and excellent techs. If anything maybe slightly over saturated.

    Thanks for the comments.

Stuart, I posted the flight image I got a few months back :)

Ofer, as far as I can remember, I did not touch the saturation during PP. But see your point.

Nice capture. I like the open beak.

When hue and saturation of subject and background are nearly the same, as in this case, the subject tends to get lost against the background.
I would selectively lower background saturation and darken it just a bit, something like this, to bring the subject forward more ...
